Austen initially pursued his passion for music at Baylor University, earning a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with Cum Laude honors in 2012. Although he deeply valued music, he ultimately chose a different professional direction, recognizing an opportunity to combine his analytical abilities with a desire to improve people’s lives. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2015 before completing his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at the university’s College of Pharmacy in 2018.

As a pharmacist, Austen is committed to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care while continually expanding his knowledge and skills. He believes professional success is rooted in continuous learning, personal accountability, and a willingness to grow through every experience. Known for his organized approach, he relies on digital planning systems and productivity tools to balance the demands of his career with his ongoing personal and professional goals.

Faith remains the foundation of Austen’s life. As a member of The Church at Rock Creek in Little Rock, Arkansas, he views his relationship with God as the guiding force behind both his personal development and professional journey. His experiences, including years of living with undiagnosed ADHD, taught him the value of perseverance, humility, discipline, patience, and resilience. These challenges reinforced his belief that lasting success is measured not by recognition or achievements, but by personal growth, character, and the ability to overcome adversity.

Today, Austen continues to build his career in pharmacy while pursuing lifelong learning, spiritual growth, and meaningful service to others. His path from accomplished pianist to healthcare professional reflects adaptability, determination, and a commitment to living with integrity, purpose, and compassion.
